How to upgrade from V1.0 to V1.5 of Mobile Geo

1. Uninstall Mobile Geo v1.0. To learn how, click here


2. Delete the map(s) already installed on your phone. Typically, the default folder name in which Mobile Geo maps are stored is named "Maps". You may delete the map files by using either the phone's File Explorer or by connecting your phone to a computer and using the computers Windows Explorer to first navigate to the correct folder and then delete the files.


3. Upgrade to Mobile Speak Smartphone or Mobile Speak Pocket v2.1.208 or later. 4. Download and install version 1.5 of Mobile Geo. To download Mobile Geo go to http://www.codefactory.es/en/downloads.asp?id=43#family_2. To learn how, click here


5. Activate Mobile Geo. To learn how, click here


6. In order to download the most recent maps for Mobile Geo, go to the Sendero website located at:http://mobilegeo.senderogroup.com


7. At the login screen, enter your Code Factory User License ID. If you cannot remember your Code Factory User ID, send an email to:sales@codefactory.es


8. Enter your password. Please note that you should have received your password, via email. If you cannot remember your password click on the Forgot your password link. Once you have successfully logged into the Sendero website, you will find your License Map Key near the top of the page. It is extremely important that you copy this Map Key to a safe and secure location for easy retrieval.


9. Download the new map(s) to your computer. Please note that we recommend that, before downloading the map(s), you first create a folder on your computer named Maps then download the map(s) into it.


10. After all of your desired maps have been successfully downloaded into the Maps folder, on your computer, copy this folder to either your phone's main memory or auxiliary storage card (recommended).


11. Upon launching Mobile Geo on your phone, for the first time, you will be prompted to activate your map(s) using your Map Key. You can also enter the Map Key later through Mobile Geo's Control Panel.
